IMPORTANT: New Procedures Moving Forward

To comply with the NAR settlement the following new rules are now in effect:

  • No offers of compensation allowed on the MLS.
  • Agents working with buyers MUST have a written agreement BEFORE giving buyers an in-person or virtual tour of a property.
  • Broker agreements must clearly disclose the amount of compensation.
  • Broker agreements must disclose that compensation is negotiable.
  • Agents working with buyers cannot receive any more money than what was specified in the buyer representation agreement.
